Wow this is a beautiful Vintage Audition bass guitar made in the 60's by Teisco in Japan.Bass is in beautiful shape,it has a thick neck profile with a huge earth shaking low tone,kindly feels sort of jazz sound wise. Nowadays all Japanese made bass guitar are becoming highly sought after so please don't let this one go! also has a pickup selector switch with volume and tone option. This definetely is a beater nice axe and very good for back up without risking the life of the other one on the battle,who knows sometimes happen! 1961 Fender Stack Knob Jazz Bass. Cool bass with tons of mojo, killer look, tone, and playability. This bass is 100% original with original finish on both body and neck. The bass plays and sounds wonderful. It is gorgeous to look at. The bass comes with both original covers, pickup and bridge.A few minor sins were committed during its 50 year life. Different tuners were mounted at one point, leaving two small holes under each tuner plate. Originals are back on there now. One extra hole in pick guard due to moved finger rest. Pick guard and neck pickup cavity were relieved just a bit to account for pick guard shrinkage. And initials are lightly stamped in bridge and scratched on back of body. One extra string tree hole in head stock. All of these issues are minor.

Includes original body (9/60), neck (6/61), tuners, pots (137 6108), tone caps, wiring, screws, pickups, pick guard, finger rest, bridge, bridge and pickup covers, strap buttons, control plate, tone caps, screws, etc. etc. The bass is all original, there are no replaced parts on this instrument. It weighs in at about 8.5 lbs. Don't miss out on this sensibly priced, all original Stack Knob! This is the most desirable Fender Bass ever made, and you will be greatly challenged to find a better example at this price!
