This vintage verified 1960 Fender P Bass (mfg. 3/60) has been authenicated by Lake City Music in Gun Barrel City Texas as the real deal. The neck is straight, the original finish is still bright with no scratches or gouges and it has an unbelievable aged patina that just screams VINTAGE. Collectability yes, but it still plays great, NO ISSUES at all with the neck, pots or set-up. The only issues are, the pick-ups cannot be verified as orginal although they are of high quality and there are several small screws missing from the pick guard. THAT'S IT, a rare opportunity to own a collectable of this quality and at this price. LOW RESERVE! If anything this bass looks better in person than it does in pictures, but if you have any questions, please ask, and I will get the answer from an expert that has inspected this magnificient instrument. Very rare 1963 Kay hollow-body shortneck bass guitar. Minus the strings, this bass is ALL ORIGINAL with original case. Is currently playable, but needs work. It needs a new pick guard, some cleaning and some body repair (starting to separate on one side, very easy fix). All electronics work. Wood on body is absolutely stunning. I personally got this bass from the original owner about 10 years ago who bought it in 1963. It has never been dropped or knocked over while in my possession. Here is a 1970 Fender Precision electric bass guitar, made in the USA. The serial # is 275103. There is no date on the end of the neck. This bass is in excellent condition for it's age. It has a few nicks and scratches. The frets have very little wear. The neck is straight with good action. All of the electronics work as they should. It is all original with the exception of a newer chrome pickup cover and one coil of the pickup. The original blown coil will come with the bass. It was replaced with another 1970 coil. The bridge cover is original. The bass plays and sounds great. It weighs 9.6 pounds. Included is the original hard shell case that is in great shape. Please feel free to ask me any questions!
