1930s Gibson L-00 12 Fret Black White P/G!! Here is a nice example of a 1930 Gibson L-00 Acoustic. It has an FON of 190. There is no serial number which is very common on these. This is a 12 fret model. This guitar is in very good condition. There is some slight discoloration on the pick-guard and a few light scratches here and the on the body. This L-00 just came back from our Luthier. We had the bridge reglued on this guitar. When we got it the bridge was coming off. He does a very clean and professional job on his repairs and this one is no different. It looks very tight and clean. There is one repaired crack just below the bridge that is about 2 1/2" in length. The finish is original and looks great. This L-00 has a great sound up and down the fingerboard. Much more powerful that you would expect from a guitar of this size!! The action is a bit high around 1/8'' on the 6th string 12th fret, but that is not bad for never ever having a neck rest. This guitar comes in it's original Purple lined chipboard case. This is a clean playable vintage guitar so don't miss out!! Like most all of our auctions, we are taking our chances and offering this great guitar with a ridiculously low start price and NO RESERVE. Who knows what the final price will be, but one thing is for sure--The high bidder will definitely win the auction!! PAYMENT IS EXPECTED WITHIN 5 DAYS. If no arrangement for payment is made within 5 days, an Unpaid Item Dispute will be opened and the item will automatically relist. Do NOT bid if you do not intend to pay within the 5 DAYS. We report all nonpaying bidders. We will accept PayPal and wire transfers. Please note that when you submit payment via PayPal, we can ONLY ship to the PayPal shipping/billing address. No Exceptions. 1935 Martin D-28 Owned By Al Dexter

See the Listing $2000.00

Al Dexter's song "Pistol Packin' Mama" was a hit not only for Dexter himself -- selling three million copies in 1942 -- but also for Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. The Texas native was also a bar owner at one time, and he introduced the term "honky tonk" to country audiences with his hit "Honky Tonk Blues." Dexter's guitar of choice was this 1935 Martin D-28. This instrument serial #611744 is in excellent condition and comes with a letter from Dexter's son, a letter from a Navy officer whose ship was nicknamed "Pistol Packin' Mama," and two promotional photos of Dexter with this guitar. With a 1950s hard case, it priceless! Paypal within 48hrs of end of auction, if you cannot comply dont bid!

1939 Gibson L-12 Acoustic Arch-top Very Nice & Original

1939 Gibson L-12 Acoustic Arch-top Very NIce & Original Here is a very fine, original example of a rarely seen Gibson L-12 archtop that was produced in 1939. This one is certainly a very nice guitar. It is completely original in all regards. The finish is in very good condition with only some crazing throughout. I see no cracks or issues, only the back center seam appears to have been reglued. The bridge, tailpiece and tuning machines are all original. It features the pre-war script Gibson logo with a unique peghead inlay pattern. The 17" body is bound with multi-ply binding. The original pickguard is not present and appears to have crumbled. This is a great playing and sounding jazz box. It comes in its original tweed hardshell case. I don't think you will find a much nicer example. The serial number is EA-5299. Like most all of our auctions, we are taking our chances and offering this rare guitar with a ridiculously low start price and NO RESERVE. Who knows what the final price will be, but one thing is for sure--The high bidder will definitely win the auction!! PAYMENT IS EXPECTED WITHIN 5 DAYS. Greetings and thanks for checking out this auction! READ THIS AUCTION AGAIN - MANY NEW COMMENTS HAVE BEEN ADDED/REPLACED FROM FIRST LISTING!!! I am selling this Vintage LG-3 Gibson Acoustic Guitar X9564 6 for my sister's family. If you need additional photos please let me know of what part/location. The photos I took will load somewhat slowly due to file size. The strings and the 2 outer pins on the body of the guitar are the only items that have been replaced. All other items on the guiter are original. The case is not original and was told not to even photo it since it is a non-factor for this item. However you will receive the case and guitar well packed for safe shipping. Date: 1954 Model: "LG-3" (Looks like a SJN - Southern Jumbo Natural) Here are the links for the photos. Image #001 (Saddle and Pins) Image #002 (Interior Bracing) Image #003 (Logo and Strings) Image #004 (Alignment) Image #005 (Back body) Image #006 (Back Neck) Image #007 (Neck Mounting #1) Image #008 (Kluson Deluxe) Image #009 (Front Body) Image #010 (Front Neck) Image #011 (Top Alignment) Image #012 (Neck Mounting #2) Image #013 (Strap Peg) Image #014 (LG-3 Tag) Image #015 (Serial #X9564 6) This is the second time this guitar has been listed. The first listing was to obtain an "approximate" valuation of the guitar. Information obtained from last 30-day listing of this guitar via comments from eBayers: * The "LG-3" you have listed is one of the best out there as far as condition, MANY of them are in far lesser condition. * The humming noise with certain strings is due to the saddle needing replacement (should be smooth, not notched). * The market on guitars is off about 40-50% from previous year. * I sell guitars and have sold two LG-3's at shows in lesser condition for over $2500 each. * The highest 2 offers I had on the first listing were from people that have sold numerous acoutic guitars and obviously plan on making profit on this one if I had accepted. (as noted in their feedback information from guitar sales on eBay.) * If you do not need the money immediately, then hold out, you will get your asking price on this guitar. I have considered all offers (many of which were lowball) and factored in economic conditions, and not in a rush to sell this beautiful example of an "LG-3" Ask your questions and make your comments! Thanks!!! Thanks for all the input thus far! Finding out more and more about this vintage Guitar!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I contacted my brother-in-law and asked him to write some information about the guitar so that I could post it here. Here is what he had to say about the guitar: "I inherited this guitar about 10 years ago after my uncle died. When I found out the value of it, I played it very little and didn't have time to sell it before moving to Japan. It has all original parts except for the high E and low E bridge pins. It has new light gauge strings on it. The action is low so it gets a bit of a buzzing sound when plucked hard. However, with medium or heavy strings this is not a problem and sounds great. I played it live one time with medium gauge strings and it had a nice warm sound. It is in good playable condition with normal wear for a guitar that is 56 years old." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1963 Guild F-30nt Acoustic Guitar W/ Case Martin 000-18

Posted in Acoustic Vintage Guitars No Comments »

See the Listing $380.00

For auction is an estate fresh Guild model F-30-NT acoustic 6 string guitar. This is Guild's version of the famous Martin 000-18 guitar. It is serial no. 23575 putting the production at 1963. This piece comes straight from the original owner and appears (to the best of our knowledge) to be 100% original. It looks as though it was used very little and when I came across it the family had forgotten about it for many years. Unfortunately there is an area of damage on the back as shown in the photo with the tape measure. In our opinion, this has no effect on the wonderful sound quality of this guitar and can most likely be fixed by an expert. We are selling it as found, as-is. The chipboard case (which appears to be original) is included. Please see all of the photos for a good visual description. Please email us for a more accurate shipping quote to your location. Also, be sure to ask us any and all questions before you bid. Thanks for looking. THE WINNING BIDDER OF THIS AUCTION AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING: PAYMENT: Payment must be received WITHIN 4 DAYS after auction close. We will send you an invoice through eBay after auction closes. After receiving your invoice please send payment via PayPal only! International bidders: payment by Paypal only! Payment must be in US DOLLARS. SHIPPING: The winning bidder of this auction agrees to pay ALL shipping fees. We ship via FedEx Ground (or expedited at your advance request) domestically and USPS for international transactions. Because of the options on the Ebay listing form we have been forced to check the option for UPS - WE DO NOT SHIP VIA UPS. This is to your advantage - FedEx is sometimes less expensive and in our experience much more reliable. If there is a difference in shipping it will be changed before sending your invoice. If you pay before the invoice is sent and there is a shipping difference you will be refunded for the difference. Please do not make up your own shipping fees as there will be no haggling with shipping costs. We ship to the address provided by eBay and Paypal - if you need special arrangements please contact us before bidding. Please be advised that to get your package to you safely it must be packaged properly and packaging materials will be factored into the final shipping cost. Insurance fees may be additional. We do not charge for our time and transportation fees incurred and ship once a week. Please do not make any assumptions as to when the item will be shipped. All items will be properly wrapped in the appropriate new box and materials before they are shipped. If the proper materials are not available there will be a slight delay in shipment. If you need special arrangements (birthdays, anniversaries, an obsessive, irrational need for the item), please contact us BEFORE you bid and we can make arrangements. If for any reason your package is returned to us you are responsible for any additional shipping fees incurred by us to re-ship the package to you, including any and all shipping and insurance already paid on the item and any return fees associated with the package. We provide tracking information through Paypal invoice when items are shipped. It is your responsibility to collect an item if it is being held by the shipper and you are sent notification. New Bidders: Please remember that when you are the winning bidder, you are obligated to pay the high-bid price for the item. Do not bid if you do not plan to pay for the item. Serious bidders only please! International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. All items are sold AS IS... we have described them to the best of our abilities. The auction time is your preview time. Please ask any and all questions before bidding and we will try our best to answer them. QUESTIONS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME. BID WITH CONFIDENCE! We take every transaction seriously whether you spend $1 or $1000. Please check out our other auctions for more items like this and Good Luck!

1969 Giannini Acoustic Guitar

I have a beautiful 1969 giannini acoustic for sale that is made out of exotic wood. I still play it every day. On picture six you can see that there is a little vorping on the top wood and picture 4 shows a little gap behind the neck. It does have some scratches here and there but nothing serious. I think if you consider it's age it is really nice.Wether it'is worth a lot or just a modest ammount, I don't know. Anyways it is looking for a new collector. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking.

1973 Gibson Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar. OHSC. Excellent condition. No known or obvious structural or mechanical issues at all. Markings consistent with a well cared for instrument nearly 40 years old, most notably some minor shirtbutton worming on the back. Chrome tuners, MOP block insetting, rosewood fingerboard. Otherwise as per photographs. An excellent example of this classic instrument with a beautiful mellow aged cherry sunburst finish. Spruce top, Mahogany sides, back. A prized member of my increasingly high-end collection (including Olson, Laskin, McCollum, Ryan, McPherson, Froggy, etc.) of fine instruments I have now decided to pare down a bit All maintained in a humidity-controlled environment. I have been a collector in the headstock market. Serious inquiries only. Please look for other listings in the coming days, as I will be moving about 20 or so instruments at this time. Thanks for looking and good luck in the bidding.
