Up for auction is a Sigma DM-5 Acoustic Guitar made in Japan. I believe this guitar to be from the early-to-mid 1970s, possibly a bit later though doubtful as production moved to Korea in the mid 1970s. Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides - dreadnaught size. Cosmetically: The guitar is in very good condition. There are a couple of minor blemishes on the body, and some minor discoloration of the finish along the bottom seam (as seen in the photos) and some pick scratching on the pick guard. Very minor issues that don't affect playability in any way. I'll give the guitar a 8.5/10 score on cosmetics. Functionally, the guitar is in very good condition - decent action, (Not real low near the sound hole, but playable (see pictures), good intonation, neck is straight, no bowing of the neck or top that I can discern, tuners work great, stays in tune well, nice big sound, etc. All in all, a nice piece of guitar history and a very nice guitar in its own right. Buyer to pay winning bid plus Shipping. Shipping will be $35 Will not ship outside of the continental United States. Will ship via UPS or USPS Parcel Post at my discretion. Will ship guitar in a well used cardboard guitar case. It does close, and locks snap tight, but there are a few tears near the locks and will need string or rope to safely hold it closed for transporting. Also the handle is missing, but will offer the guitar protection for shipping or storage.

1960 SuproPocket Basswith Original Hardshell Case This is a rare & collectible, 60s vintage Supro Pocket bass. Great looking 24 inch, short scale, short horn double cut-away hollow-body with a fat Valco neck pickup and a piezo pickup in the bridge. The controls are simply a master volume and a pickup blend control which allows for a wide array of tone options. The short scale produces a thundering bass tone with the acoustic bridge piezo bringing back some definition to the tone. This bass is in very good condition for it's age and would make a great addition to your collection. Make it yours today! Every guitar we sell is completely set up by us to be gig-ready. That means we do the following: Remove the old strings. Clean and lemon oil (for rosewood and maple necks) the fretboard, and polish the frets. Clean and polish all hardware. Clean and polish (3 step process) the body. Put on a brand new set of strings. Set up the bridge and neck for perfect intonation, and a low/fast action with no fret buzz. This makes the guitar easy to play and ensures it stays in tune up and down the neck. Backstage Guitar Gallery accepts the following forms of payment: PayPal (Preferred) Credit cards through PayPal All payments must be made within 10 days of end of auction.
Untitled DocumentLos Angeles Guitar Shop®buy / sell / trade 213 · 369 · 0539Item Details For your consideration is this vintage 1973 Ampeg SVT ‘Black Line’ bass guitar amplifier head. This particular example, serial number 32918, is in very excellent 100% all original condition. This incredibly iconic bass amp remains unparalleled by all other vintage high-power bass amps, has been reissued by Ampeg to the tune of $2,000.00 and has achieved ultimate acclaim for virtually all applications. In short, when it comes to bass amplification... this. is. it. This second generation SVT head, just post those with the 'Blue Line' front panel, happened to belong to the famous husband and wife recording duo, The Captain & Tennille, and remains in the identical internal shape as when they first purchased it new sometime in '75, during the absolute pinnacle of their fantastic career. Both an amazing sounding example, and an amp with fantastic provenance, this conversation piece is not just a cool rock relic, but is also accurately represents the archetype of great bass tone. Vintage SVTs in nice all original condition are becoming scarce and difficult to purchase, so take advantage of this reasonable Buy it Now Offer, and become the proud new owner of an SVT owned by Toni Tennille and Darryl Dragon, otherwise known as The Captain and Tennille. Serial Number: 32918 Transformer Codes: 682327, 682326 The Ampeg SVT utilizes; (6) matching 6550 Tung-Sol power tubes (all dated early '75), (4) 12WD7, (2) 12BH7, (1) 12AX7, and (1) 6C4 tubes original tubes. In 1969, Ampeg’s Chief Engineer Bill Hughes designed the Super Valve Technology circuitry for the amplifier of the same name. At 85 lb (39 kg), the Ampeg SVT provided 300 watts of RMS power, considerably more than most other bass amplifiers of the era. The high power rating made the SVT a candidate for use in larger venues. The SVT saw widespread use by rock acts in the 1970s, yet has since to wane in popularity. The amp is in very nice all original condition, and presents quite nicely considering it has toured the globe with The Captain & Tennille. The well preserved condition is mostly due to the original flight case marked "Captain & Tennille, M4B" which has excellently protected the amp since new. It will be shipped in the flight case, and boxed within cardboard to keep the exterior of the case from being damaged. The vinyl exterior is nice with some superficial scrapes, none of which reveal peeling through the vinyl. The original blue and silver grill cloth is in excellent structural shape, and aside from "The Captain & Tennille" business card placed upon the front panel, the BlackLine face plate is also in excellent condition. The amp sounds incredible and it works perfectly. If you're looking for the SVT of your dreams, after plugging in and playing this one you'll be saying "Do That To Me One More Time!" Payment DetailsI accept Paypal, and I have my account arranged so that you can pay with all credit cards, as well as, fund the purchase directly through your bank account. If someone local is interested in this item, I can facilitate other types of secure payment. ALSO NEEDS STRING PEGS AND NEW STRINGS I will start the bidding $$$EXTRA LOW$$$ For all you treasure hunters out there!!! PS: Be careful not to be outbid by last Minute Bidders: It's real easy.... eBay has a special proxy bidding system! If you just bid the absolute maximum you are willing to pay for this item right from the start, the proxy bidding system will always work for you! For example, if the bid is $4.00 and you feel it's worth $15.00, then just bid $15.00 now. The proxy system will automatically put a bid in for $4.25 (one bid higher than the current top bidder) and continue to bid for you automatically until it reaches your preset bid limit (in this case, your highest bid will be no more than $15.00) . Now, here's the best part! Let's say the last 2 minutes of the auction some SNIPER comes along, sees one of my wonderful items and bids $4.50 while you're not at your computer. Normally, you would lose. But in this case, the system will automatically increase your bid to $4.75 (again making your bid one bid higher than the highest bidder)... out-bidding that sniper and preserving your WIN! Isn't that easy? Do yourself a favor... Bid now so you don't forget later! High bidder to pay the SAME FLAT RATE FOR CONTINENTAL U.S. -OR- CALCULATED SHIPPING RATE TO THE REST OF THE WORLD!!!
Here is a Kay acoustic f hole guitar. I'm not sure of the date it was made. I was told it is likely from the 1940s and I think that's possible. There is a black stamp inside one of the holes that appears to be the letter "B" or possibly a B with an L stamped over it?. The guitar is very comfortable to play, I have set the strings to 2mm at the 12th fret. The neck is screwed on tight and I've lowered the bridge. There are a lot of scratches around the body, but it looks pretty good from the front. I've also cleaned the fretboard and put Martin lightweight phosphor bronze stings on. The black tuners are original, and the Kay logo is one I've not seen before. It's ready to play. There's no case, and I don't ship outside the USA.

Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! villagetradersandwholesale11 Store WE ARE BY FAR GUITAR EXPERTS, HOWEVER THIS IT WHAT WE ASSUME TO BE SOMEWHERE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF A 1940'S-50'S SILVETONE ARCHTOP ACOUSTIC GUITAR. THIS OLD GUITAR IS STILL DUSTY JUST AS I DISCOVERED IT IN A BARN FIND. IT APPEARS TO HAVE MAYBE AT ONE TIME BEEN RE-PAINTED, AND HAS SOME SIGNS OF AGE AND WEAR PRETTY MUCH ABOUT THE NECK AND BODY ETC...I AM NOT FOR SURE IF THE NUT IS FREE STANDING, BUT WHEN I REMOVED THE ORIGINAL STRINGS IT JUST CAME OUT CLEAN WITH THE STRINGS. THE BRIDGE HAD A SMALL CHUCK OF WOOD BETWEEN IT AND THE BODY, BUT I DISCARDED THAT. MY INITIAL PLANS WERE TO RESTORE THIS FINE OLD PIECE, BUT I JUST REALLY HAVEN'T HAD THE TIME TO GET AROUND TO IT. THE GUITAR IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL, ALTHOUGH IT DOES HAVE SOME WARPING IN THE NECK AND BODY. PERHAPS SOMEONE LIKE A COLLECTOR WOULD KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THIS WONDERFUL PIECE OF HISTORY. I DID REMOVE THE STRINGS, SO IT WILL NEED NEW ONES. THE BRIDGE AND NUT WILL BE WQELL PACKED AND INCLUDED WITH THE ENTIRE PACKAGE. Your browser does not support JavaScript.
