Here we have a WONDERFUL early '65 Jr. vintage guitar in Excellent Original condition!! This one is 100% original, sports a vibrant cherry finish, and plays and sounds GREAT. Features include an early width 1 11/16" nut, arrow-straight and chunky mahogany neck, medium large frets with plenty of life left, one HOT P-90 pickup (one side of the plastic cover has a small crack that's been secured), Kluson tuners, and more! Not without some bumps and bruises but no breaks, no cracks, no issues.. this is a GOOD one! The ultimate LP style guitar, BETTER than any other Gibson made that year. The L5S was THE TOP OF THE LINE. It is in VGC, some beltbuckling on the back. All original, rare black/ebony color. I emailed Gibson USA with serial numbers and pictures - they were impressed with the condition. The email also said in 1977 they shipped out exactly 301 L5S guitars, but did not have breakdown of colors shipped. The most amazing headstock and neck inlay you will ever see. Plays fantastic, absolute best pickups I have ever heard. Guitar comes as-is, with what appears to be original case. No returns, so feel free to ask any/all questions. Happy to send more pix out. 1960's VINTAGE JAPANESE TEISCO "DEL REY". Excellent example of a '60's Teisco. It's a Del Rey model. Small sticker on back of head stock says it's a MODEL ET-220 JAPAN. Unable to find any date codes so unable to date accurately. It has two desirable "Ry Cooder" style pickups. They are the type he uses in his "Coodercasters". Has a Off/On switch, volume knob, and tone knob for each pickup. Pick guard is brushed aluminum. All metal bridge and it is a tremelo tall piece. The tremelo arm is missing but the mechanism is all there and works. There is a chrome hinged cover over the tail piece. Finish is in excellent condition, though there are a few minor dings and scratches. Neck is straight and finish is great with one ding near body on back of neck. Frets are thin and have minimal wear. The neck binding is in excellent condition (no separation). Tuners are original and the high "E" tuner knob shaft is slightly bent (works fine). Everything works. Would be a great collector's guitar.
